3XX redirect in sitemap

    Hello I am trying to figure this out.

    I changed some of the product names on my website and had to change some Permalink as well. as you know wordpress will automaticlly create a 301 redirect to the new Permalink so I didnt add them to the redirect section.

    After doing this I am getting an error from ahrefs saying 3XX redirect in sitemap and when I checked it is correct.

    I tried to regenerate the sitemaps however I was unsuccessful.

    the URL in the sitemap is still the old URL even though it has a 301 redirect

    I dont think we understood each other. the url in question is already being redirected. the issue is that in the site map is still showing the old url and google is saying if this URL is permanently moved to a new URL why is it in the sitemap.

    so how can I update and regenerate the sitemaps

    Hello,

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
