  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the fatal error on your website when Rank Math is activated. This type of error is often related to the Action Scheduler and can occur if there are conflicts with other plugins or if an older version of Action Scheduler is being used.

To resolve this issue, we recommend following these steps:

    1. Backup Your Database: Before making any changes, please ensure you have a backup of your database.

    2. Use the Repair Action Scheduler Plugin: You can use our Repair Action Scheduler plugin to fix this issue automatically. For multisite installations, use the multisite version.

      • Download the ZIP file from GitHub and upload it to your site via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
      • Once activated, the plugin should automatically fix the issue and deactivate itself.
      • You may see messages indicating that tables were created successfully.

    3. Clear Cache: After following the above steps, please clear all caches, including server cache, to ensure that changes take effect.

If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket with any error messages you encounter, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to resolve it quickly for you!

the plugin didnot fix the error

    Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

The issue stemmed from a corrupted schema that was added to that specific page you mentioned.

To fix this, you’ll have to remove that schema in the post editor in your WordPress dashboard and insert it again.

If you don’t have access to the post editor, you need to remove that schema directly from the database.

Please access your database panel (PhpMyAdmin), open the database table wp_postmeta, and filter only the post_id column. In your case, filter the post ID of the affected post to reveal the schema meta from our plugin. You should see a meta_key like this: rank_math_schema_Article.

When you see that, remove it and the issue should be resolved.

If you are not sure about that, we need to take a closer look at the settings (please also share the affected post). Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
