I have not used any other SEO plugin. Only RankMath.
I uploaded the og image using the RankMath mechanism on every single page.
I see within the Breadcrumbs settings that there is an option to Show Categories. As far as I understand categories are for posts not pages? In which case is there a method I can use to incorporate them and see if Show Categories will work to show hierarchy in pages? If not how to pass hierarchy to the breadcrumb? I have had a look at the help file (https://rankmath.com/kb/general-settings/#breadcrumbs)
and not found it very helpful. It doesn’t explain in detail about this point or the Taxonomy option below.
Thanks Michael. Is there a way I can fix this sitewide without having to individually go to each page and do that? I took a look at the About page source and it is still showing incorrectly.
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
I have just added that code as a snippet within WP, activated and cleared the cache. However nothing seems to have changed. Are there other steps I need to be taking in order to get the page menu hierarchy I am asking about?
I will add the logon details to the Sensitive Data section of that post now
Thank you for this. Can I just check – it mentions inserting post type name, does that mean it only works for blog posts? I’d need the custom schema to work for my pages. The blog posts can take the default Article schema no worries.
Also can I just check what this does? I’m not able to make it out from the code. It looks like it’s blanking out fields, but if I select Schema Type of None in Page edit, would this not achieve the same thing?
How do I incorporate the menu hierarchy inside the breadcrumb? No matter what page I click there is only one level shown. I’d expect to see something like this:
A breadcrumb trail or path based on viewing history is typically rendered as follows :
Page viewed > Page viewed > Page viewed > Page viewed > Page currently being viewed
For instance, in this scenario, a website visitor views seven pages (note how the pages are tracked in order the user viewed them) :
Home page > Services > About Us > Home page > Latest Newsletter > Home page > Page currently being viewed
Typical breadcrumbs following a hierarchical structure are shown as follows:
Home page > Section page > Subsection page
I’m not sure what the point is of having the breadcrumb in that case if it will only ever show one level?

What I want to do is, from my point of view, quite straightforward. I’m sure other people must have the same requirement or have needed this in the past? I can’t be the only one.
Product 1 = Vase Set | Test Tube Decorative Vases with Stand made from Reclaimed Wood
Product 2 = Floating Globe Clear Vase With Reclaimed Wood Stand
Product 3 = Vase Set | Home Decor Vases Made From Bottles With Reclaimed Wood Stand
Product 4 = Recycled Gin Bottle Flower Vase with Wooden Stand
Evidently I will need different offer schema to describe the details of each of these products. I cannot use one offer schema for all since they are all different in price, title, description etc. So, where within RankMath editor in Pages area of WP can I do this?
If this is not possible (as I suspect), I then need to add my own markup to the header *without it being interfered with by the RankMath breadcrumb script*. I can add the code to the wp_head area without difficulty, but the breadcrumb hijjacking it is causing an issue.
Also if I search the page link you sent on for “Products” to find the filter you spoke of the only thing I see is:
11. Add Brand Name for Products
Yes I enabled it in the first instance, and in the Twitter preview it mirrors what I see in FB. It does not however within the view source of the page or Twitter Card Validator / FB Debug as outlined previously
Thanks for getting back to me. I don’t really understand that. Surely keeping the button checked is mean to result in Twitter using the same image as the one uploaded in the FB tab? I don’t want to upload different images for FB and Twitter since the image per page will be the same and related to that page, so makes no sense to bother uploading different ones (not to me at any rate).
