You can run Rank math setup wizard even while Yoast is still active, it will be automatically deactivated after importing the data to Rank math.
All the same, you can also deactivate it and run the setup wizard.
Something to keep in mind is to not delete Yoast from your site until you are sure all meta is imported to Rank math successfully.
