    Hello,

I migrated from Yoast to RankMath several months ago.
I’ve been experiencing various issues since then, particularly regarding SEO and secondary sitemaps.
I deleted all the Yoast-related tables from the database. However, when I tried to translate a post via WPML, I realized that some Yoast custom fields remained. (See image.)
Could you tell me how to completely clean up the Yoast data?

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with leftover Yoast custom fields after migrating to Rank Math. To completely clean up the Yoast data, you can follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Import & Export in Rank Math: Go to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools and select Import & Export.
Navigate to import & Export settings

    2. Navigate to the Other Plugins Section: Scroll down to find the section for other plugins.
      Navigate to Other Plugins

    3. Clean the Database: Click on Clean to erase any remaining database records related to the Yoast SEO plugin. You will receive a confirmation message; click OK to proceed.
Click on Clean to remove Yoast SEO database
After this, you should see a success message confirming that the cleanup was successful.

    Hello,

In this case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
