Hello,
We have cleared the malformed data, and went to update the post ids (1688, 1786, 1813, 1830), to noindex as they were previously set in the malformed data.
We apologize for any inconveniences that might have been caused by this issue.
In the future, you may run this code in this gist https://gist.github.com/Nickbahson/556987229810786baf59cbf9f9ff6dc4 only once.
Thank you.
Okay great, thank you!
How will I know if I have this issue on other sites? How would I go about fixing it myself in future?
Do you know what caused the issue?
Also, will this resolve the sitemap issue and will I be able to update the index status as normal moving forward?
Catherine
Hello,
You’re most welcome.
The fix we applied also fixes the sitemap issue, and I have shared (updated) a link to my previous comment with a link on where to get the code, that fixes this.
Thank you.
All looks good, thanks for fixing this.
Can you walk me through how I would run the code you sent me to fix the issue please?
Also is there a way of downloading this support chain?
Thanks
Hello,
You would add the code inside any WordPress filter or action, like init
, but in our case we added the code inside the_content
filter (any is okay).
For more details on how to add filters to WordPress, please checkout this well detailed KB article

Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I think we might have the same error with our framework website as the sitemap is not being updated when a page’s index status is changed.
I have updated the Sensitive data to include SFTP access to the framework site.
Please can you have a look and see if this is the case. If so are you able to please apply the fix?
Thanks,
Catherine
Hello,
The website
https://www.framework.growyourplumbingbusiness.co.uk/wp-admin/ is not reachable. Could it be possible that you’re blocking some IP?
Hello,
We cleared sitemap cache and when we change(update) pages from noindex to index, they are included in the sitemap.
Could you please verify this from your end.
Thank you.
