WWW Canonicalization on nginx server

    Hello there,

    I’m getting a warning on my site’s SEO analysis about WWW Canonicalization.

    I’m using EasyWP from Namecheap, so my hosting is configured on nginx server. That means I don’t have an .htaccess file to edit.

    Practically, when I visit www version of my website, it automatically redirects to non-www of my website. But I’m still getting a warning on Rank Math.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    Hello,

    Thank you for that information.

    The WWW version of your website is still accessible, and not redirecting to the non-www. You can also check using this tool.

    Since you’re using Nginx for your site, you may need to do the redirection to your config file instead of the .htaccess.

    Your web host should also take care of this kind of redirection even your site’s running under the Nginx server.
