Disabling the Rankmath plugin reverted the status. I really like the plugin and want to use it. How can it work without causing that issue? I use elementor page builder
Same problem here – The global settings on dashboard of WP are over ridden by rankmath. Would request someone to help. My page title is picked up twice. My meta descrip is wrong. And there is no way i am able to change that – and it is bad as it is getting indexed that way in SERPs

I will explain my case and how it worked out. if your issue is different, please explain, I can try to help. I thik I have figured it out.
My issue was that I was coming from yoast, the toast settings can be found at the bottom when you “edit” a page/post(Without going into Elementor or “Back to wordpress editor”. I was used to this and it was missing with RankMath.
Actually, RankMath has simplified things. Far better than yoast actually. RankMath Meta fields can be found “Within Elementary builder” itself. When you are editing a page in elementor, notice the left pane from where you add elements. It now has 3 tabs from earlier 2. The third tab “SEO” has all the meta settings. RankMath integrates well with elementor.
I installed RankMath today only, and already starting to like it.
