There seems things not going the way they should be. Please check the following image of how the breadcrumbs are showing in search results:
Here’s the URL of the post: https://allusefulinfo.com/10-best-websites-to-post-free-classified-ads/
And when I checked the Google’s Rich Results Test, I found the following errors:
“Home” is pointing to the current post URL, not the actual homepage
“Home” appears twice in the breadcrumb list
Please check yourself and help me fix these issues on my website.

This is a very serious problem. I am still waiting for an update.
The topic is pending moderation. Why is it taking this much time to get a response?
Hello,
Apologies for the delay, as this ticket seems to have been stuck in our drafts section for some reason.
The Breadcrumbs schema from the URL you shared is already validating fine:
https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result/r%2Fbreadcrumbs?id=ga7A1stlKU6IDdvX7NALaQThe second crumb points to the category URL (Usefule website), and not your homepage
Looking forward to helping you.
May I have an update on my previous reply? It’s been more than 19 hours but didn’t get a reponse!
Why do you guys started taking this much time in replying? I never faced this much delay in the replies despite of being on the free plan?
It’s been more than 1 day and 5 hours and I’m still waiting for a response!
This way, it will take months or years to solve my problem!!
How people can use a plugin with such a worst support in the industry!
Hello,
We apologise for the delay in getting back to you.
Since you have already corrected your Homepage URL in Rank Math’s settings, which could have indeed caused Google to pick up the wrong “Home” link to proceed further:
1. Resubmit to Google
In Search Console, use the URL Inspection tool on one of the affected pages and click Request indexing.
2. You can also resubmit your sitemap to speed up processing.
3. Allow time for recrawl.
It may take Google a few days to weeks to re‑crawl and update search snippets after you clear the cache and request indexing. This is dependent on Google’s assigned crawl budget/rate for your site.
Don’t hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
I have requested indexing as well as resubmitted the whole sitemap but still no luck. Are you sure there can’t be any other reason for this kind of schema showing in the search results?
Hello,
This behavior is expected. Since your Breadcrumbs schema includes Home > Category, Google may display the same in search results.
If you’d prefer to remove the “Home” from breadcrumbs, you can do so in Rank Math → General Settings → Breadcrumbs by disabling the “Show Homepage Link” option.
Also, temporary misconfigurations (like the incorrect homepage URL you mentioned) may have affected how Google interpreted your schema. Since you’ve already fixed that and requested reindexing, the changes should reflect once Google reprocesses the page. You just need to give Google some time to recrawl the page.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
Now you’re suggesting me to do this!
If you’d prefer to remove the “Home” from breadcrumbs, you can do so in Rank Math → General Settings → Breadcrumbs by disabling the “Show Homepage Link” option.
Are you guys really not sure about the solution of the problem I am facing? Show Homepage Link setting has been enabled for my website for over 2 years and never faced this issue and now you’re saying to disable this just because this suddenly occurred this issue?
Do you guys really not know why this happened? I even shared a situation that Home URL field under Breadcrumbs settings went blank after migration and when I checked I corrected it immediately. You said yes, this could be the reason. You made this plugin and you don’t know the exact reason for the problem caused due to a plugin created by you guys?
How it can be trustworthy then?
I really want to know what’s the exact reason to this problem. It’s been over a week and I am still facing the same issue and no solution is provided from your side!
I was really planning to get Pro but now worried about your support knowledge!
Hello,
We can confirm that with the “Show Homepage Link” option enabled, the breadcrumb schema is being generated correctly on your site so the current schema output is accurate and as expected.
Even though you’ve corrected the homepage URL setting after the migration, Google may continue to show outdated breadcrumb paths until it recrawls and reprocesses the affected URLs. You’ve already requested indexing, which is the right step but based on our experience, it can take a few days to a few weeks for the changes to reflect in search results, particularly for older or less frequently updated pages.
Your current breadcrumb schema is valid and correctly configured so the issue most likely occurred temporarily due to the homepage URL being blank after the migration, which might have led to Google misinterpreting the schema at that time.
You do not need to disable the “Show Homepage Link” setting as we only mentioned it as an optional step if you wanted to remove “Home” intentionally.
We hope this clarifies the situation. Please rest assured that we’re here to help, and we’re confident this will resolve once Google finishes reprocessing your updated schema.
Let us know how that goes.
Okay, thanks now for clearly explaining the things. I am still overviewing Google to correct the breadcrumbs output on my website.
