It seems like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using. To determine that, can you please follow this troubleshooting guide?

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
That is what I did, that is how I found out that it was the Rank Math. Then I narrowed it down to a user profile where I put a unique URL field, wanting to change my nickname to my full name and that was when it puts my name in the first line of the domain and same time putting in the end of the domain after /author/. So, if I am to customize the URL, they will be put before the domain name and then at the end of the domain like yournamedomain.com/author/yourname so it’s a problem in that area for Rank Math.
