    Hello,

I have a multilingual site configured as “Domain per Language”

    yacht-delivery.eu – main site
    Other, translated by WMPL sites;
    yachtdelivery.fr
    yachtdelivery.es

    1. Using RankMath I see advice, option and reports but all of them are regarding the main site only. I don’t see any recommendation regarding for example French phrases or subpages

    2. I should dedicate one SEO phrase for one sub-page. Nice. I can do that for the main webpage. But not for translated pages. How to “fix” it.

    3. There are no index files for translated files. Understand but Google treated that as an error

Perhaps some of the problems are caused by hosting configuration. WPML advice informs hosting to change a “regular domain” to a “domain indicator”. As a result, there is no any place o the hosted server to put any files because the translated domain is only a virtual one. Maybe here is the main problem

    Thank you
    Marek

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us for help using Rank Math with WPML on a multi-domain website.

    1. Using RankMath I see advice, option and reports but all of them are regarding the main site only. I don’t see any recommendation regarding for example French phrases or subpages

Rank Math only works for a single site setup for WPML. To separate the SEO data for each of the website versions, you will have to use a WordPress multisite setup. Once you have setup multisite, you will be able to setup analytics and reports for each subsite domain.

    2. I should dedicate one SEO phrase for one sub-page. Nice. I can do that for the main webpage. But not for translated pages. How to “fix” it.

It should be possible to open the translated version of your pages in the editor and edit the SEO data.

    3. There are no index files for translated files. Understand but Google treated that as an error

You can edit the meta robots for each post within the post editor Rank Math advanced metabox for each translated post.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

    Hello,

sorry I didn’t see your reply

ad. 1 I’m using WPML – a kind of multisite so. as I understand I don’t need to instal any other multisite

ad 2. Regarding indexing I can read in my Wardpress:
“Rank Math generates the default Sitemaps only and WPML takes care of the rest. When a search engine bot visits any post/page, it is shown hreflang tag that helps it crawl the translated pages. This is one of the recommended methods by Google. Please read here”

ad. 3 I didn’t understand. So why to buy your tool to edit manually some files. Looks very complicated and I really don’t understand it, sorry

    Hello,

Using different domains in different languages it’s very hard to optimize with our plugin because each website is treated differently.

WPML has that functionality built into it but our plugin was not designed to optimize a collection of websites from a single place as the SEO for each one should be unique.

Basically, you would need to set up a multisite network and install Rank Math on each subsite or domain to get optimizations for all of them.

You would also need to have properties for all of them on GSC because Google also treats those as completely independent websites.

Hope this helps clarify your doubts and help move forward with the current setup.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
