Working on better Breakdance integration with RankMath

    Hello, I’m a core developer of the Breakdance builder and in charge of integrating with other plugins, including RankMath.

    We’ve received many support tickets and reports of issues with RankMath, some of which we try to fix internally. In some cases I can’t find a solution or one is not currently possible. I hope we can open a line of communication to make this process easier for both parties. Same on your side, if you get any bug reports that you need fixed from our end, please let me know.

    Right now there’s an issues which I can’t solve from our end:

    The “Disable Archives” setting in RankMath breaks our “archive” templates.

    This happens because we rely on including the right templates, but with this option enabled RankMath will use a redirect, which we don’t handle. The solution is really simple and I’ve opened a pull request on your repo some months ago. It would be great if it could be merged: https://github.com/rankmath/seo-by-rank-math/issues/127. That way we can use that hook to fix it from our end.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I am not sure if a new filter is needed there as we use WordPress’s wp_redirect function that provides a filter to modify the URL. Did you try to fix this using the wp_redirect filter?
