Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with your WordPress Multisite setup and Rank Math. It seems that you are experiencing a problem where sites without the Rank Math plugin activated are not loading correctly.
This issue can occur if Rank Math is not installed properly in a multisite environment. To ensure that Rank Math is set up correctly, please follow these steps:
-
Check Installation: Make sure that Rank Math is installed network-wide. You can do this by navigating to the Plugins section under My Sites → Network Admin and ensuring that Rank Math is listed there.
-
Activate on Subsites: After installation, you need to activate Rank Math on each subsite where you want it to function. Navigate to each subsite’s dashboard, go to the Plugins section, and click on Activate for Rank Math.
-
Role Manager Settings: If you have access to the Role Manager settings inside Rank Math, ensure that your user role has been granted all the required capabilities. You can check this in the Rank Math settings under Role Manager.

-
Network Activation: If you are still facing issues, consider following our detailed tutorial on installing Rank Math in a multisite environment.
If the problem persists after checking these settings, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further.
Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it!

The error is indeed happening. Can you please check it. Interestingly, the subpage http://wp.local/2/, from example above, will be displayed if you are not logged in to the WordPress administration.
Thank You.

Hello,
Please note that the correct way to use our plugin on a multisite setup is to install it on the network but only activate it on specific subsites so make sure to deactivate it on the network and then activate it on the subsites.
