    Dear Team,
    i have some problems with RankMath with Woocommerce Rich Snippet for category archive and product type variable.

    I’m tryng to solve Google Search console errors.

    Problem 1:
    I have this notice for several categories
    Missing Fields “aggregateRating”

    i have escluded category richsnippet in settings,
    but i recive a lot of warning for all categories like
    https://www.sitename.it/cat/maincat/subcat/

    Problem 2:
    In woocommerce when you have a product type variable you can set the price for all variations
    but not for main product.
    So google are warning me that price field is missing for all product type variable.

    How can i solve ?

  • Hello,

    Rank Math takes the schema data from your product pages automatically and turns it into Schema-ready content. Likewise, the aggregateRating and review fields are taken from your actual product reviews that your buyers/customers leave on your products.

    If you don’t have any reviews yet, that is going to show up as a warning in the schema testing tool. That’s because Google will actually look for those fields.

    Please acquire some reviews and ratings to get rid of the aggregateRating and review warnings.

    You can fix the SKU and availability issue easily as well:

    To fix the brand warning, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce and choose from any of the available fields to use as your product’s brands.

    Brand Value

    If you want to use a custom value for your Brands, you can do that by using the following code in your theme’s functions.php file:

    // Add Brand for Products.
    add_filter( 'rank_math/snippet/rich_snippet_product_entity', function( $entity ) {
    $entity['brand'] = 'Rank Math;
    return $entity;
    });

    Replace the “Rank Math” text with your actual brand name then run your website through the Structured Data Testing tool once again.

    Could you also share a link to one of the affected variable products on the sensitive data section so that we can investigate and advise further?

    Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi Marco,

    We tested variations on our setup and we are not getting the errors you are seeing.

    It is possible that you are getting these because you are using a dot in your SKUs.

    Do you mind changing that to a normal number?

    If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

    We really look forward to helping you.
