Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
You can use the variable : %category%
to get the category name. You can also use %terms%
to show all categories related to the product.
Let us know if this helps.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi,
Thank you for your fast response and help.
I am in Product Categories – Category Archive Titles
Current configuration: %term% %sep% %sitename%
I tried with:
%category% %term% %sep% %sitename%
%term% %category% %sep% %sitename%
%category% %sep% %sitename%
I still cannot see the parent category in the title. It is referred to the woccomerce shop, products – categories in wordpress.
Thanks,
Marco
Hello,
We are so sorry but we do not have that option available. You can add a title manually to the product category archives as we do not have a way to automatically show the parent category name in a child category archive.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hi,
Thank you I will follow your suggestion.
I am loving your product so far.
Thanks,
Marco

Hello,
And I am super sad that this works like this – what I’ve just discovered 🙁
I have dozens of categories to overwrite manually.
It would be very cool feature if it list all products categories by %terms% (but there is only %term%).
Regards,
Dominik
Hello,
I’ll forward your suggestion to our team. In the mean time you can use this filter: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#add-extra-variables to add custom variables to the titles & description dropdown.
