    Hi, I’m trying to display the image (open graphic) in a whatsapp chat and it’s not working. I did it with a page/post and it works, do I have to pay premium or is there something I need to activate?

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with displaying the Open Graph image in WhatsApp chat. There are a few things you can check to ensure that your Open Graph image is displayed correctly:

    1. Check if the Open Graph Image is Set: Make sure you have added the Open Graph image for your WooCommerce product using the Rank Math Meta Box. You can do this by editing the product and checking the Social tab in the Rank Math settings.

    2. Image Dimensions & Format: Ensure that the image you are using meets the recommended dimensions of 1200px X 630px and is in a supported format (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP). If the image dimensions are too small or too large, WhatsApp may not display it correctly.

    3. Facebook App ID: Although not mandatory, adding a Facebook App ID in Rank Math can help with social sharing. You can set this under WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Social Meta.

    4. Caching Issues: Sometimes, caching plugins or server-side caching can prevent changes from being reflected immediately. Try clearing your cache and testing again.

    5. WhatsApp Caching: WhatsApp may cache the link preview. If you’ve made changes, you might need to use the WhatsApp link preview debugger to refresh the cache for your link.

    You do not need to pay for a premium version of Rank Math to use these features; they should be available in the free version as well.

    Please note that the WhatsApp platform has a limit on the size of the image and it works best for images that are below 300Kb in size, even though it’s possible that some images above that might show sometimes but it’s very finicky and not consistent. So, if you’re using an image more than 300kb in size, we suggest you decrease the image size and after clearing your website cache, please check again.
