  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the WooCommerce internal links being set to nofollow. This behavior can indeed be influenced by the settings in Rank Math.

To address this, you can check the following:

    1. Nofollow External Links Setting: Ensure that the option to nofollow external links is not affecting your internal links. Rank Math typically applies the nofollow attribute to external links, but if there are any misconfigurations, it might affect internal links as well.
    2. Link Management Features: Rank Math has features like Link Blacklist and Whitelist that allow you to control which links are nofollowed. Make sure that your internal links are not included in any blacklist settings.

If you want to ensure that your internal links are not set to nofollow, you may need to adjust these settings accordingly. For detailed guidance on managing link attributes, you can refer to our knowledgebase article.

If the issue persists after checking these settings, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

Please note that Rank Math only automatically sets nofollow attributes to external links if you choose to enable it.

To check if this issue really came from our plugin, please try disabling Rank Math plugin temporarily, clear your website caches and try checking your Woocommerce internal links. See if the nofollow attributes are removed. If it does, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,
