In Elementor page builder, I have created two versions of the footer for my WordPress website. One version is for PC and tablets, and the other version is for mobile and small devices. I used Elementor’s responsive options to achieve this. Will this affect the SEO of Google?

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing. Having two versions of a footer for different devices, as you’ve done with Elementor’s responsive options, should not negatively affect your SEO as long as both versions are properly optimized and serve relevant content. Google is capable of understanding responsive designs and will index the content accordingly.

However, it’s essential to ensure that both footers contain the necessary SEO elements, such as relevant links and keywords, and that they do not create duplicate content issues. If both versions are significantly different in terms of content or structure, it might be worth monitoring how Google indexes them.

If you have further concerns or specific issues regarding your setup, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello there,

Using Elementor’s responsive options to create different footers for desktop and mobile devices is a common practice and should not negatively affect your SEO. Google is capable of recognizing responsive designs, and as long as both versions of your footer are properly coded and accessible, they should serve your site well across all devices.

If you have further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out!
