Dear Team
i am wondering, why Rank Math think my Tours & Safaris are Blog Article. I am using Woocommerce Bookings for my Tours & Safaris because these are not normal Products. And i am always wondering why only 2 of my blog posts are in Rank Math in a good position. But with uncountable Keywords. But all my Tours & Safaris I would to rank high in google. Not Blog Posts. And why i get so high rankings for the Word Fudscheira but not for Desert safari? Fudscheira maybe appears 1 time in all my website but Desert Safari appears maybe 50 times on my website. But all my Tours & Safaris (these are my “Products”) have bad rankings showing me in Rank Math. But i want to sell this and the Blog is only informative for our guests.
I am really trying to follow all your information by adding a new tour, but i have ranking like 67 or 89 for these import products over the time for 2 years now. I understand if a Tour is new, but many tours are inside for 1 or 2 years now. And i don’t understand why google always thinks my Products have Shipments and so on. I don’t set shipments on my page, in WooCommerce. Please can you help me with this dilemma?
Thank you so much
Sylvia

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with your tours and safaris products.
i am wondering, why Rank Math think my Tours & Safaris are Blog Article
If you are referring to the schema type assigned to your tours and and safaris products, you can change the default schema by going to your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta and under the relevant post type, change the default schema setting.
why i get so high rankings for the Word Fudscheira but not for Desert safari?
Questions like this are difficult to answer as they depend on several factors outside the control of features provided by Rank Math. It depends on factors such as the amount of competition for the keywords, backlinks to your website, social media shares, post length, trustworthiness of your website, to mention a few.
And i am always wondering why only 2 of my blog posts are in Rank Math in a good position. But with uncountable Keywords. But all my Tours & Safaris I would to rank high in google. Not Blog Posts.
Blog posts are always likelier to rank higher because they have a content length and keyword density than product pages. For us to better understand the issues affecting your website, please share links to example products that are not performing well so we can investicate further. Please share any other details that you think might be useful. You can use a tool like imgbb.com for screenshots or a tool like loom.com for screencasts and share the generated links here.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi Nigel, thank you for your answer.
If you are referring to the schema type assigned to your tours and and safaris products, you can change the default schema by going to your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta and under the relevant post type, change the default schema setting.
This is not easy to find the right “Post” because you named all as “Post” and i can’t decide what is a Blog Post and What is a Product Post and what is a Page Post and what is a vendor management post. It is not easy to work on this.
And if i do it with the WooCommerce schema immediately i will get problems with google because they think i have products for shipment… But i don’t have, i have Tours and Safaris and my customers get the Confirmation by email. And another schema is not possible. Sometimes i see in Google the information “In Stock and the Price like i have shoes… I don’t want to see this! That’s why i don’t want to set a schema. But now you rank my Products like Blog Posts. It is really crazy for me to find the right way.Questions like this are difficult to answer as they depend on several factors outside the control of features provided by Rank Math. It depends on factors such as the amount of competition for the keywords, backlinks to your website, social media shares, post length, trustworthiness of your website, to mention a few.
And this, yes i know these factors. But if i have a website where you can find in many Text, Headline, and pictures, and pictures URL and products URL the Keyword Desert Safari, and you can no one time find the Keyword Fudscheira? My Main eye going to my Tours and Activities. Till now around 50 different on my page. Desert Safaris, Boat Tours, Water Sports, Sightseeing Tours, Balloon Rides, Helicopter Tours and each of them i give all in that your program tells me. On each page, i did making my content with your advice and i have mostly around 70 %, sometimes more than 80 % ranking from you mostly you give me ranking bad for the length of the content text, but this is why i ask you how i can change that you understand this are “Products” and not Blog Posts.), but if i check my keywords only 3 keywords rank high: Fudscheira (what is do never use), Money of UAE (ok, i have 1 Blog Post with this Thema) and Alcohol in the Emirates (1 have 1 Blog Post with this Thema). And this is never changed since i start my website around 2 years ago. But all my Products (Tours & Activities) have many keywords and only the Camel Safari in Abu Dhabi ranks well (already for 1 year this good ranking), but all others not? I understand the Keyword ranking because of competitors, but before i make this with you my rankings were very good and you could find my Tours & Safaris mostly on the first page, but now not. I did also a google advertisement for Desert Safaris in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. I set a lot of Keywords for this in Google. But still, with you my rankings are bad.
In social media i work in Facebook, Instagram, TicToc, Twitter and share always for my Tours & Safaris.
Post lengt—> Products (and my Tours & Safaris are Products) don’t have a big Text, some i give but not all.
I don’t know how my trustworthiness is ranking but my customers like my page for the easy-to-book Tours & Safaris and for my Blog Posts to get some more information about the Emirates. But Rank Math does not see this.I thank you for your answer, but your answer did not help much, because i did already much and it never changes with you….
With Best Wishes
SylviaHello,
Can you please share a screenshot of the Titles & Meta page? You may use this tool https://imgbb.com/
Additionally, please share some of the affected URLs so we can take a closer look at them and advice accordingly.
Looking forward to helping you with this one.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
If you wish to disable schema on your product pages, you can do so by going to your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Products and set “Schema Type” to none then click “Save Changes”
Regarding the ranking of your pages. I checked your product pages. All of your products have keywords set and most of your products have and SEO score above 70, so your product content seems to be well optimized. There may be other issues causing the low performance as highlighted in the previous replies. You may go through our SEO audit guide to test and fix other technical issues that might affect your ranking: https://rankmath.com/blog/seo-audit/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.
Hi Nigel, thank you for your message.
And thank you that you check it, because I set for my Tours and Safaris already all that Rank Math advised me.
And yes setting WooCommerce as the scheme, seems not to be a good idea, because i see in the google list “Auf Lager” and the Preis. And google send me emails that miss some things for my scheme, but also for Shipment and so one. I cant understand if i have Woocommerce Bookings why Woocommerce looks all time like i have shoes….Hello,
We can see that that default schema has been set, you can leave it like that since your product pages involve prices, and the product schema is the best schema for it.
Can you please share the complete report from Google in a form of a screenshot (you can use https://imgbb.com) so we can take a closer look at it? You may also share the affected URLs here.
Looking forward to helping you with this one.

Bewertung: 4,9 · 9 Ergebnisse · 86,00 $ · Auf LagerI think this is the only tour what is always on the first page, but my competitors for this tour are the same like for all other tours… And if i see your Analytics list i find differences between Place 10 for a tour and place 96 for a tour. And on my own statistics i can see well, the users are on so many different tours on my page. But in your list it looks like this tour was never seen and never clicked….
And this both are the information from Google search console, after i changed from default to WooCommerce Schema.
Feld “aggregateRating” fehlt: 36 of my Tours with this
Feld “review” fehlt: 36 of my tours with this
But all of my tours have the same schema, and i have online now 71, i ask me why only this 36?Hello,
We deeply apologize for the delay in response.
When you switched to the schema Woocomerce Product, the price is included in the schema structure and Google will display that on the SERP since it is intended for product type snippet.
If you wish to remove that, you can refer back to the recommendation my colleague presented here.
However, can you please confirm if you wish to remove the price from the SERP but keep the review schema?
Please share one affected product URL here so we can take a closer look at it.
Thank you.
Thank you for your reply.
I know I can switch this scheme off again, but then what? Then my products will be considered as a blog? Or i get down ranked, because i do not use a schema? And yes, my ratings would probably be gone then too. This is the only i want to see. When it comes to the price, I’m a little torn as to whether it should already be shown on Google, because I want the customer to visit my website and not not to ignore my website at all because he sees a price totalling of 72 and he does not like it. You don’t see that with my competitors either. So far I have 72 different bookable activities and the number is constantly growing. But I definitely don’t want to see “In Stock” because we don’t have any warehouses and activities can be booked but not shipped, like shoes or a book for example.
Why isn’t there a scheme for something like this? I don’t think it works with the event scheme either, things are queried there that we cannot enter in this way. And our tours & safaris are not one-off events such as a concert. And most of our tours & safaris are with hotel pick-up, so we don’t have an event location to quote either. And our tickets to amusement parks or museums are not events either. So this schema markup drives me crazy. I use several tools that give me statistics on how my website is used and what is missing. And it often says “no schema markup” and then I think Google will penalize my site if that’s not properly stated. And as you probably know from my last messages, I have big problems with Google considering my tours & safaris as relevant and not my blog articles. I have constant visitors to 2 blog articles (Alcohol in the Emirates and All about money in the Emirates). But these are people who, for example, want to exchange money, are looking for exchange offices, and want to know the exchange rate between dirhams and Indian rupees. They are not interested in my tours and safaris. This shortens the time users stay there because they come, read the article briefly and then leave. When I look at the analytics, I see exactly that almost everyone who visits this entry page then quits again.
Yesterday I deleted all my sitemaps that lead to the blog, hoping Google won’t see them anymore. I really have no idea why this could get out of hand. I think Google is looking closely at the pages. Why doesn’t Google notice that it’s covering up the relevance of my page? I only have 11 blog articles (of which only two are ever seen, Google got stuck) and I have 72 tours, safaris, boat tours, helicopter tours, balloon flights, tickets, and sightseeing tours. All optimized with your help, all images have titles etc., and readable URLs everywhere, all full of Keywords, but Google doesn’t care. And i see this in your statistic too.
So as you can see, I’m getting desperate, this topic is slowly driving me crazy. I’m considering shutting down the blog entirely so Google can find time to look at the rest of the site. And one more thing, I keep seeing my Elementor library on the index, or pages that shouldn’t be listed, such as the shopping cart, the dashboard, etc… I’ve used Instant Index several times to prevent this, but no chance. I only want to index my products. And before corona, my website ranked very well, only with the tours, and my competitors were the same. But now not. Here is an example: https://emirates4you.com/activity/camel-safari-abu-dhabi-id604/
If you give Camel Safari in Abu Dhabi in the google search it comes very high on the first page. And you can see Reviews, Price; “In Stock”I hope to get a bit closer to resolving my big problem.
With Best Wishes
SylviaHello,
If you don’t want to show price and stock info in the SERPs, you should switch to Service Schema as it is more relevant because you are offering a service for tourists. You can set the Service Type as Tours & Travels in the Schema and Google will no longer show the price and stock info: https://rankmath.com/kb/service-schema/
And for ranking of the blog pages, since Google has already discovered the blog pages, they will rank them for the keywords they find helpful. If you don’t want your articles to rank you can set them as Noindex.
Hope that helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
Hi Jaideep Asrani, thank you for your reply. Sorry, my mail was very big. But! You give me the right way for the Schema Problem. More than 1 week ago i start this riding to your team, and you give me the best tip.
I tried already some of the Schema (Shopping, Article, WooCommerce) but also i take a look on Events and Services. Both i did think were not the right. For events, i wrote already some in my last message. For Service i did read all descriptions what i could find: it is for Handyman, car repair, accountant and so on. And nowhere did I find a single indication (not even in the previous messages, by the way) that this scheme can also be used for Tours& Travel. (Maybe you could adjust your description a tiny bit? I would never have guessed that this would be the right solution for me too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, finally (I hope) Google will understand that I have tours and tickets and safaris, and no handbags. On the other topic with the blog articles, of course, it’s great that Google finds my articles so great and if that doesn’t completely undermine the purpose of my website, I’ll let Google do it. I will now monitor how long it takes for the changed schema to take effect.
Does that affect you too? I think I read that you don’t use text length ratings for shopping, but it would help me if my products weren’t rated by text length either, because I can’t possibly review every ticket or jet ski booking Write 6000 words. Apart from that, customers only read the summary with all the important data anyway. Which, out of sheer desperation, I have included in my texts so that I can find more words.I still have one last question: sometimes in your instructions on the product pages, I see “you have already used this keyword” when I create it and when I click on the link, I only see this tour. And I also see in the list of my products that I only used each keyword once. What makes you think I’ve used it before?
Are there any old stocks left? that I can’t see? I used to have a plugin called BA Booking and I had already created a series of tours there. When I wanted to delete the plugin, I had to rewrite all the tours. Can it be that you still see some shreds of the old plugin somewhere in the background?
With Best Wishes
SylviaHello,
We already have eCommerce-friendly tests in the PRO version of the plugin. You can ignore the content length test as it isn’t necessary to have a long description for the products.
And our plugin checks the database for the keywords. You should check your database and see if there are entries left from deleted tours that are causing the test to fail.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
