You must have disabled the author archives during the setup wizard.
Although we do not recommend enabling author archives, you can do so from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Authors.

Because usually it is thin content, just pages with very little content, so Google will spend your crawl budget indexing not interesting pages (and potentially penalizing your site rankings).
