Why my sitemap throw back error 404

    Rank Math free

    Most of the time, when I check my website sitemap, it throws file not found by redirecting me to the homepage and I always have to head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and hit the save button once to make it visible.

    Why does it happen? Is there anything I can do about it because when the sitemap disappears, an error also occurs on my webmaster search console!

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Are you using a caching plugin? If you do, you need to set to never cache the sitemap URLs.

    You can add the following exceptions:

    /(.*)sitemap(.*).xml
/(.*)sitemap.xsl
