Dear Team, i want to ask you about this problem:

All my tours & Safaris in google look like this:

30.01.2022 — Explore the Abu Dhabi desert on the back of a cozy “desert ship”, as camels are called because of the swinging walkway.

I mean, there is a date before the Text.
How can i fix this problem? These are not Blog texts. These are Tours & Safaris& Tickets lie products.

    Thank you for your support.

    Sylvia

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Are you referring to the last modified date shown on the search results pages?

    Modified date

If so, Google picks and shows the dates that they see in the content itself. Here’s a link for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/remove-dates-from-search/#how-google-picks-the-date

So to remove the date, you will have to remove it from your page. That’s something that can be dome from your theme options. If you are not able to find the option then you will have to get in touch with your theme’s support and ask them to remove the date.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you for your quick response.
But I’m still a little surprised. I understand that Google uses a date on blog posts to indicate freshness, but does it use a date on products? What for? And why do I see this on me but not on similar websites? I create my products (tours, safaris, tickets) with WooCommerce Booking, i.e. a plugin that is intended directly for bookings. It’s a mystery to me what my theme could have to do with it because I’m only using Elementor Hello as a base because I’m using Elementor as a building program. Everything that can be seen on my site was created using Elementor templates. The actual topic is not visible at all. Of course when I create a product in WooCommerce there is a publish date, I see that in my WordPress Dashboard/ Products. But there’s no point in publishing it. Then all products would be displayed as ancient by Google in a very short time. As I said, I understand that with blog posts or news, but not with products. And I think I’ve overlooked something in your plugin or set it wrong.

    Hello,

I checked your site and all the products have the same date showing in the SERPs: 30-Jan-2022

The only place where that date is present on your products is the latest post section in the sidebar of the page:

And you can check the meta tags in the page source and the sitemap, there is no place where our plugin is mentioning that date. So Google is picking that date from the latest post section and showing it in the SERP. There is nothing you can do to change that other than remove the date from the latest post section.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need any other assistance.

    Thanks.

Hi and thank you very much.
Google is really not easy for a simple person like me.
My Posts should be show the actuality, but Products? Noo!
And my next problem is, Google failed my Google adds, because “Umgehung von Systemen” and “Malware”. But both i didn’t… i cant understand what is wrong and Google Support today for 2 hours doesn’t bring results for me.
Do you have any idea what is wrong with my page for this reasons?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

Google failed my Google adds, because “Umgehung von Systemen” and “Malware”. But both i didn’t… i cant understand what is wrong and Google Support today for 2 hours doesn’t bring results for me.

I’m not quite sure whether I fully understand your question here. However, if your Google Ads was mistakenly marked as malicious, you would need to connect to their support team so you can prove the ad was an error and resubmit the ad for review.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
