/?sitemap=1 < I added that sitemap because it was recommended and then removed it again, but it doesn’t disappear anymore. Will we respond to this?

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your website not disappearing from Google search results. It sounds like you might be dealing with a few potential reasons for this. Here are some common causes:

    1. Blocked Crawling: Ensure that your site is not blocking Google from crawling it. You can check your robots.txt file for any disallow rules.
    2. Not Indexed Yet: If you recently made changes, it might take some time for Google to re-index your site.
    3. Security Issues: Check if there are any security issues that might be affecting your site’s visibility.
    4. Migration or Deletion: If your site has been migrated or deleted, it could affect its presence in search results.
    5. Penalized by Google: Check your Google Search Console for any manual actions or penalties that might have been applied to your site.

To improve Google’s ability to find and crawl your site, consider submitting a sitemap. Rank Math automatically creates a Sitemap Index for your website, which can be found at https://yourdomainname/sitemap_index.xml. Submitting this to Google can help them crawl all the pages on your site more effectively.

If you need further assistance, please reply to this ticket with your site URL, and a human agent from our support team will take over and provide more specific help. Thank you for raising this concern!

The site map has not been displayed normally for 5 months now.

Isn’t it a failure to see 3 site maps like a screenshot?

    Hello,

This should be an issue for you. However, if you wish to remove those sitemap URLs and instead stick with the standard one which is sitemap_index.xml, please remove all your sitemaps from your Google Search Console in the Sitemap section and re-submit only the primary one, which is sitemap_index.xml.

After that, give Google some time to recrawl your website and wait for the reporting update in Google.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
