Why are all my pages and posts on “noindex”

Hello, I would like to know why are all my pages and posts marked as “noindex” as I’m certain I didn’t choose it to be that way.

For example, see the page source here: view-source:https://digitalsearchhero.com/blog/seo-retainers/

Meanwhile, I regularly set this in a plugin, for this and other posts to be “index”.

What would be the issue here? Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked the URL, and it has been already marked as indexed. Also, the post is already included in your sitemap:
    https://digitalsearchhero.com/sitemap_index.xml

Could you please share the screenshot of the error message so we can check as well? You can upload the screenshot using this tool and add the link here.

Meanwhile, please clear your website’s cache and revalidate the error in your Google Search Console. Then, give Google some time to recrawl your site.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I managed to solve the issue myself. The site was all put on “noindex” because the option in Reading – Settings was activated to do so. I’m sure I didn’t put it that way, and no one else has access. Maybe it was some bug from plugins or WordPress.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

We are glad that you have already managed to resolve this issue.

If you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime to assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
