I have many games on the site and Buddypress. Which pages and posts are definitely not to be indexed?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math for advice on which pages should not be indexed on your website.

As a general rule, you should noindex pages that do not contain information that a person might be looking for through a search engine, for example shopping cart, checkout pages, settings pages, privacy policy pages are some examples. You can also noindex pages that contain private personal information.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

If I don’t index a path, are lower level paths affected?

    Hello,

Could you please share some examples of the paths you’re referring to?

Meanwhile, if you’re setting a noindex on a path like this: /category1/post1/

Then, /category1/ URL will not be affected (assuming you have set noindex post1).

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
