Hi, I’m working through adding schema for my recipes and am unsure where I should add the shortcode for review location. I have not noticed this type of element on any other recipe blog.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

You can where you feel it will be better (for the style of the blog) since position doesn’t affect ranking. Usually, people set it at the end of the post.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Could you possibly share some sites that use it, as I’ve not been able to find any. Thanks

    Hello,

Here is an example of recipe page that has rich snippets in the SERPs:

Here is a screenshot of the Schema appearing on the frontend as per Google’s requirements:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

So, when I look at the code, that’s actually a recipe card. So they haven’t used your “No schema found.” they’ve just filled out their recipe card. We do the same, so does that mean if we select “Review Location: Custom” that we don’t need to put your shortcode anywhere?

    Hello,

The rich snippet is usually used to show the review snippet on the page. You ca choose to not add the snippet and use the card all the same.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
