  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the JSON error message when storing in Rank Math. This error typically occurs due to a JavaScript conflict or a server-related issue that prevents Rank Math from processing the request correctly.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check for JavaScript Errors: Open the Developer Tools Console in your browser (you can do this by pressing Ctrl + Shift + J on Windows or Cmd + Option + J on Mac) and look for any JavaScript errors that might be causing the issue. If you see any errors, they could provide clues about what is going wrong.
      Open Developer Tools

    2. Disable Other Plugins: Sometimes, other plugins can conflict with Rank Math. Try temporarily disabling other plugins to see if the issue persists. If the error goes away, re-enable the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.

    3. Check Firewall Settings: If you have a firewall or security plugin installed, it might be blocking certain requests from Rank Math. Ensure that Rank Math is whitelisted in your firewall settings.

    4. Clear Cache: Clear your site’s cache and your browser cache. Sometimes cached data can cause issues with updates.

    5. Update Everything: Ensure that WordPress, Rank Math, Elementor, and your theme are all updated to their latest versions. Compatibility issues can arise from outdated software.

    6. Check Server Configuration: Sometimes server settings can cause issues with JSON responses. Ensure that your server is configured correctly to handle REST API requests.

If you continue to experience this issue after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket with your site URL and any additional details about the error messages you see in the console. A human agent from our support team will then be able to assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention!
