Please head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Breadcrumbs and change the “Search Results Format” to Search for %s
Once done, clear your website’s cache and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks for the hint. That did not work, however pointed out to the right direction. Somehow the “Archive Format” field value is saved with Archives for % (not %s) and looks like this is causing issues. After I correct it to %s all seems fine. Perhaps in the future, the plugin could be improved with a validation here. Thanks for the great product!
