    Hello my website is earnfromyourlaptop.com
    I help beginners with starting their own online business in affiliate marketing.
    The main thing I promote is the training and mentoring community to help people get started called Wealthy Affiliate where I help people further. I also do reviews of other platforms and money making opportunities to help readers stay away from bad choices that don’t work.

    I want the best structured data for SEO for this.
    I have chosen “Other business website”
    and “Professional Service”. The only other one that made sense was organisation.

    I am not sure if I should choose “Community Blog/News Site” or “Small Business Site” instead
    AND any advice on the next category “Business Type” would be appreciated
    Thank you

  • Product reviews schema are important for me and I have been using WP Product Review Lite for this purpose to get stars in SERP’s but these have stopped appearing for my most recent posts in the last year.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    The settings you set are fine, maybe you could set something related to Education but right now they are also fine so you shouldn’t worry.

    About the product reviews schema, are you using now Rank Math with the schema? If yes, are you using the product schema? Or do you mean you used the old review schema (which was removed by Google some months ago)?

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    OK,
    QUESTION 1: Which do you think will be better for SEO given I am mainly promoting Wealthy Affiliate – an affiliate marketing training platform?
    I have chosen “Other business website”
    and “Professional Service” OR “Educational Organisation” (I cannot choose any of the sub categories here)
    – Q1 so which of these 2 is better for my SEO

    Yes, I mean the product reviews schema, I have used WP Product Review Lite.
    So I guess that means I used the old review schema. I used to get those golden stars up to 5 to appear in the SERPs but don’t get that anymore. But I notice that some reviews e.g.google “can you really make money with Lifevantage” then an indeed.com article on page 2 has the stars. But my article on Page 3 earnfromyourlaptop.com USED TO have golden stars, but doesn’t anymore.

    QUESTION 2: What settings do I need for each review post to get those golden stars back.
    What settings do I need in “Product Rich Snippet” etc for each review post
    These are not products I am selling, they are products or opportunities I am reviewing – please advise what schema I need for each of these review posts

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    Could you share (in the Sensitive Data section) the InDeed article so we can check it and try to help you to find which schema they are using and how you can implement a similar one on your site?

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
    Also for now I have followed your guides on how to do reviews for
    1. Software Application – I did one of these “What is Pixamattic About” but the stars are not showing in SERP’s
    2. Course
    3. Product
    Thank you.

    Hello,

    From the article you have shared on indeed, it seems to be more of a professional service than educational.

    For the issue with your rating and the aggragateRating warning, please note that Rank Math takes the schema data from your product pages automatically and turns it into Schema-ready content. Likewise, the aggregateRating and review fields are taken from your actual product reviews that your buyers/customers leave on your products.

    If you don’t have any reviews yet, that is going to show up as a warning in the schema testing tool. That’s because Google will actually look for those fields.

    Please acquire some reviews and ratings to get rid of the aggregateRating and review warnings.

    You can fix the SKU and availability issue easily as well:

    To fix the brand warning, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce and choose from any of the available fields to use as your product’s brands.

    Brand Value

    If you want to use a custom value for your Brands, you can do that by using the following code in your theme’s functions.php file:

    // Add Brand for Products.
    add_filter( 'rank_math/snippet/rich_snippet_product_entity', function( $entity ) {
    $entity['brand'] = 'Rank Math;
    return $entity;
    });

    Replace the “Rank Math” text with your actual brand name then run your website through the Structured Data Testing tool once again.

    For the GTIN, ISBN, MPN issue, you can fix it by adding that to your products using the custom product attribute feature in WooCommere or you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/product-gtin-ean-upc-isbn-for-woocommerce/

    For the priceValidUntil warning, you have to either ignore that or add a sale price with validity to get rid of it: https://i.rankmath.com/cMqAAH

    Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    OK for the Software Application Review of Pixamattic.
    “Please acquire some reviews and ratings to get rid of the aggregateRating and review warnings.”
    I don’t sell that product, I am simply reviewing that Software Application.
    (I do have an affiliate link for it, that it all. An independent vendor sells this product).
    I don’t have WooCommerce on my website. So I will never complete the stock quantity or SKU. I am not selling any products on my website.

    So can you redo your advice then please?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

    The messages you see like you need the SKU or reviews are there since Google usually wants it in sites using that schema.

    But they are just warnings, you can safely ignore them (or at least, just some of them).

    If you can find an SKU for that review, add it. If not, just ignore it, it won’t harm your SEO.

    The same applies to the user reviews. You could install some plugin where you are able to add some user reviews by yourself, or since you are not selling the product and it is just a warning, you can ignore it without any issue.

    Looking forward to help you.
