What are am I doing wrong?

    Rank Math free

    Hi,

My site is now 8 months old, I have 38 posts with the lowest RankMath score being 87 but more than two thirds’ of the posts with a score over 91. I post regular posts every week, I use the Instant Indexing feature you provided to guarantee my posts are indexed in a timely fashion.

I have a GTMetrix score of Grade A with a 96 Performance score and 99 for Structure.

Last month I had one of my pins on Pinterest go viral and my impressions grew by 3 million within a month and my post has had over 28K shares, which drove 19k visitors to my site for that one pin alone.

On Google console, I have 0 errors, 0 manual actions, 0 security issues

    And now to the problem.

On Google console I have, as of today, 76 total clicks and 1.14k impressions, my top-performing keyword is not even a keyword I attempted to rank for, it is just a sentence from within a post.

I do not know what I am doing wrong, or how I can improve the site performance any more.

Please can you help explain why I am not discoverable on Google or why the keyword I rank for with Google is not even a focus keyword I was aiming for?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Upon checking your website, it looks like you still have some basic On-page issues needed to fix. Please see the screenshot I inserted in the Sensitive Data section.

I also checked your visibility on Google and it seems that your website is discoverable.

Please note that ranking on Google depends on so much more than just your on-page optimization. You could have the perfect article and still struggle to break the top 10 in SERPs. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking you:

    1. Your website’s authority

    2. Your content’s quality and how better it is than the other article currently ranking.

    3. How competitive the keyword is.

    4. How many backlinks you have and if they are better than what the other guys ranking for that keyword have.

    5. Your website’s crawlability.

    6. Frequency of new content and content updates.

    7. So much more that there is a dedicated blog post on it by Brian Dean 🙂
