    Hi guys,

Im using your plugin on one of my sites, I realized that some URLs are not included in the sitemaps even tho the sitemap is excluded from WP Rocket.

I tried to play with the number of URLs per sitemap since you recommend doing it based on some google searches to flush the cache or whatever.

I realized that when I’m setting it to 200 per sitemap, the two major sitemaps will have 124, 166 pages (I have 300+ pages on my site).

When I’m setting it to 201 pages per site map, now I can see all the pages appearing on my sitemaps but they are not limited to 201 pages as I set in the plugin. I’m getting back 165, 224 pages on 2 different site maps. as you can see 224 is higher than 201 😉

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

This usually happens when you have another layer of caching on the website. This might be from Cloudflare or from the server.

Please follow this guide to exclude the sitemaps from caching from Cloudflare:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/#cloudflare

Also, ask your web host to exclude the sitemaps from caching if there is any caching on the server.

Then, clear the website cache, purge the cache from Cloudflare and check the sitemap.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

I tried to add a rule in CF to bypass everything and even put CF into development mode which means its not caching anything.

I added those rules to WP Rocket to not cache the sitemaps (just to make sure).

the caching on the server site is disabled and I still see it as 224 URLs on one sitemap and 165 on the other.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
