    Hello Rankmath support team,

I did set the local schema in Local SEO section, however I found the name under “worksFor” is something I didn’t set, the same for the description part:

    https://pastebin.com/84nFzLVW

The text in tag above is not what I set in “Titles & Meta > Local SEO” . So I have these questions, could you help me to resolve:
    1. How to update the text above to what I want
    2. How to check if my local schema works for my spa’s location?

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the schema elements. Thank you for raising this concern.

    To address your questions:

    1. Updating the Text in Schema: The text that appears under the worksFor property and other schema elements may be automatically generated based on the settings in Rank Math or other plugins. To ensure that the correct information is displayed, please check the following:

      • Go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Local SEO and verify that all fields are filled out correctly, including the name and description.
      • Ensure that you have not set any conflicting information in other schema settings or plugins that might override your Rank Math settings.
      • You can also check the Schema settings in the Schema tab of the specific post or page where you have applied the local schema to ensure it reflects your desired values.
    2. Checking if Your Local Schema Works: To verify if your local schema is functioning correctly for your spa’s location, you can use the following methods:

      • Google’s Rich Results Test: You can use this tool to test your URL and see if the local schema is recognized correctly. Visit Google’s Rich Results Test and enter your page URL.
      • View Page Source: Right-click on your page and select View Page Source. Search for schema or @type to find your local business schema and ensure it contains the correct information.
      • Alternatively, you can use online tools like Schema Markup Validator to check your schema markup.

If you continue to experience issues or need further assistance, please reply to this ticket with your site URL, and a human agent from our support team will take over and assist you further.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to helping you resolve this issue!

    Hello,

From the schema, it seems that you’re still using the Rank Math PRO plugin on your site.

If you have set up the schema in Rank Math PRO, they are still saved in your database.

Here’s a guide you can follow to remove the worksfor property on your site:

    Dear Reinelle,

I didn’t mean to remove the “worksfor” property, I want to edit /revise.

I didn’t set this in the schema I attached above: “Moc Kim Spa – Gentle Acne Facials, Natural Brightening, Deep Pore Detox” It’s weird, and I want to update it to what I want. the same for this “Moc Kim Spa District 1 – body massage therapy for neck and shoulders, foot massage with hot stones and many full body massage combos, along with specialized facial care services such as painless acne extraction, skin peeling and rejuvenation. Combining natural herbs and modern technology, Moc Kim Spa is committed to bringing optimal results to customers.”

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

That data you shared in the pastebin is no longer included in your homepage’s schema:
    https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=gX-V-M8Esin_uNoGLsqkwQ

The description in the code from the pastebin you shared is already updated, so you must have pasted the cached version of your site.

    Looking forward to helping you.
