Website warning error caused by plugin activation

I just installed the RankMath SEO plugin. When activated, my published wordpress website lists several warning messages on the front picture, and example is:

Warning: The variable has already been registered. in /home4/vrromsmy/public_html/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/includes/replace-variables/class-manager.php on line 119

I have tried deactivating all the other plugins, but that doesn’t affect these Warnings. They go away when I deactivate the plugin. Please help as I am not a programmer and I am a newbie.

I had a similar problem with the new release. When I clicked the WP button to create a new post, I got an error message saying the the site had technical problems.

By deactivating the plugin (which I hated to do), I was able to post and, in general, maintain my site.

I have noticed this issue as well. I have deactivated the plug and it solves the issue. When I re-enable the plugin, the problem comes back. I took a screenshot but there doesn’t seem to be any way to attach it and I have found no way to reach out to support directly.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

This has been isolated to a bug in the latest version that we released yesterday. We are currently in the process of testing the patch and you can expect to see an update as soon as this weekend.
Instead of deactivating the plugin, you can rollback to the previous version by using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rollback/
