Since a week all my page titles aren’t correct anymore in Google.
They just show the name of the page and not the title that I set in Rank Math.

    Page name: Webhosting
Set in rankmath: Managed WordPress Webhosting 3,99€
Shown in source: <title>Managed WordPress Webhosting 3,99€</title>
    Shown on Google: Webhosting

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Since you say your source code title matches the one in the settings, then you must check if Google has seen the changes already or not.

For that, please check when the Google cache was updated for that page:
    a.

    b.

If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info. If the date is after you made the changes,

Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

You can read more about it here

This section sheds light on that:

Why the search result title might differ from the page's <title> tag

Also, if you want, share the affected URL in the Sensitive Data section and we will try to look it but everything points it is up to Google to show it, since everything is fine in the source code.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

    Hey Alberto,

Google did already fetch the changes but the titles don’t make any sense even if Google would corrected it them self. The custom title tells exactly what is in the heading, meta description and text on the website.

I added my URL to the sensitive data, thanks for your quick reply.
    I really appreciate it !

    Hello,

I have checked it and I can confirm the titles you see in the Search Results are not the ones in the source code.

But it also confirms what I was thinking: it is not an issue in your website nor in the plugins, it is just Google wanting to show another title on the search results. Quoting my previous message:
