Let’s say I am building a new website on a subdomain called test.mywebsite.com and the new website will replace the current one on mywebsite.com.
The website will be completely rebuilt, and all the pages will get new permalinks, so I have to redirect all old URLs and do all kind of other SEO stuff.
The logical step would be to install RankMath on the new website on test.mywebsite.com and do all the SEO stuff completely and then move it to mywebsite.com when I am done doing so. That way I don’t lose any traffic. But is it a problem to install RankMath on test.mywebsite.com? will I get errors in RankMath when the domain of the website changes from a subdomain to a main domain.
Do you have some articles about what to do to make sure RankMath still works when a website is moved to another domain?
