    Rank Math free

Hello, I setup RankMath for my wordpress website hosted by SiteGround. The website’s domain is “Colourpaintingllc.com” when i did the setup, but when i realized i was missing the “www” i changed it in wordpress. The issue I am having is that when i search up my website, or even company name, I don’t see the editted snippets on google or the uodated URL. It’s still the old links with the old snippets. How could i update it to show my updated domain “www.colourpaintingllc.com” with the edits i have made in the RankMath SEO snippets?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Google last crawled your website on 28 March, if you have made these changes after 28 March, you need to wait for Google to recrawl the URL.

However, it is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results that even if everything’s fine, Google decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

You can refer to this guide for more information:

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

Hello, thank you for the response!

I do seem to understand now, I submitted a recrawl request from Google to crawl my page in hopes that it fixes my issue. The support team from site ground say they see a mixed result of my website in Google, the original url without the “www” and the url with the “www”. If the recrawl does not fix this issue, should I uninstall and deactivate the plugin, delete everything from my google search console, and setup everything from square one?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

You won’t need to set up everything as that will not speed up the process either. In this case, since you have made the changes, you’ll just need to give Google some time to recrawl the updated version of your site.

I’ve also checked your site on the search results page, and the cached version is still showing:

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
