#251611
  • Hello,
I am contacting regarding my website https://cashforyourcastle.com. I am using rank math for my SEO and have used my own robots, schema and sitemap. Some of the pages on my website and allowed for indexing and some are not. However when I check on google either non indexed pages show up or no results. Need your help in making sure I have done the setup completely.

When I check xml-sitemap.com it says there is an error accessing the website.

Your help will be appreciated in ensuring the setup is correct

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and we are deeply sorry for the unexpected delays and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

First of all, if you are using your own schema and sitemap, please ensure that you have disabled Rank Math’s schema and sitemap module so Rank Math won’t interfere with your custom schemas and sitemap: https://i.rankmath.com/3WlgKW

Can you please share the affected URL with us so we can further check it on our end?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,
Thank you for the quick reply. The url that is affected I feel is https://cashforyourcastle.com. I have turned off schema and sitemap on the tool. One issue I still find is when I do a google search for “cashforyourcastle” I get links showing that that I have kept as no-index. ( https://cashforyourcastle.com/our-process/) So please let me know how I can fix this.

    Hello,

I’ve checked the page you have mentioned, and I’m unable to find a noindex nor index meta tag. You mentioned:

I am using rank math for my SEO and have used my own robots, schema and sitemap.

Could you please confirm the robots if you’re referring to is the robots.txt or robots meta tag?

If you wanted Rank Math to generate the robots meta tag for your website, you may need to check for a plugin/theme conflict since Rank Math is unable to print those in your page’s source code.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), to determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
