Please get in touch with your host so that they can help in changing the permissions for the .htaccess file and delete the existing robots.txt file on your root folder so that Rank Math can generate a virtual robots file.

Or if you want to do it yourself then you only need to change the permission on the .htaccess file. Please set it as 644 and if that doesn’t work, you can try 755. And delete the robots.txt file so that Rank Math can generate a virtual robots file.

For the Search Console issue, let’s try deleting old imported data and start the fresh data fetch. Please follow these steps.

1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard >> Rank Math >> Tools & Status and click the ‘Rebuild Index’ button https://i.rankmath.com/kecLYK

2. Head over to WordPress Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click the ‘Delete Data’ button and then click the ‘Update Data Manually’ https://i.rankmath.com/fvcsbF
