web-stories sitemap couldn’t fetch on google search console

    I am using rank math sitemap and put the general sitemap URL on the google search console its shows sitemap index processed successfully and page-sitemap post-sitemap1, post-sitemap2 are success but web-stories-sitemap shows couldn’t fetch. Now please help me to fix this.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The Web Story URL is currently showing a 404 page.

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Remove all your sitemaps from your GSC and submit only the primary sitemap (https://yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml). See if the issue goes away after doing so.

    Please wait for Google to crawl the sitemap again and then check the sitemap in your GSC account.
