    Good morning! my pageviews reduced drastically, Rank math is connected and all my Search Impressions, Total Keywords, Search Clicks, and Avg. CTR went down to 0. please what could be the problem?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Let’s try deleting old imported data and start the fresh data fetch. Please follow these steps.

    1. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> Tools & Status and click the ‘Rebuild Index’ button https://i.rankmath.com/kecLYK
    2. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click the ‘Delete Data’ button and then click the ‘Update Data Manually’ https://i.rankmath.com/fvcsbF
    3. It will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.
    4. Once the process is complete. Please recheck the Analytics page.

    Please reconnect the Analytics account, to regenerate the auth token from Google, by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings:
    reconnct

    Once you reconnect and configure the Analytics settings, the data fetch should start automatically.

    If the data is still not fetched, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    I logged in and was able to check that your GA and GSC properties were not connected. After connecting them and running the manual fetch, the stats have started to appear in the Analytics Dashboard:

    Hello,

    No, the analytics data displayed in the analytics dashboard is simply fetched from your Google Search Console account and this does not, in any manner, affect the page views/traffic of your website. We simply fetch and display the data.

    An SEO plugin alone cannot bring down or bring up the traffic in a day (or even a few days) unless incorrect Meta Tags are used by setting up the plugin improperly. That’s why we have a detailed tutorial on that:

    However, Google brings a new algorithmic update several times a month and the chances are great that your website got hit by that.

    I also suggest you check the coverage report under your Google Search Console account to see if there are any errors shown, that might be causing the issue.
