VideoObject and isFamilyFriendly property, value type issue

Hello, many of our clients are using RankMath as we recommend it over Yoast but I’ve found one thing that i have concerns about. For VideoObject your “Schema Builder” uses check for isFamilyFriendly property. In the code view we can see the “1” as a value of isFamilyFriendly property. Schema.org and google documentation says that expected value is a boolean, logical state which is 1, 0 or true/false without the “” marks (your builder generates it with “1”).

The new Structured Data Testing Tool shows no errors but the old one and documentation + schema.org says it has to be a boolean. Can you please update your plugin to use boolean value instead of “1”?

I cant wait to hear your thoughts on this, greetings from Poland:)

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

We have identified this as a bug because our plugin is outputting the values of 1 or 0, and the Schema for this expects booleans like true or false.

Our dev team is already aware of and fixing this issue. We would really appreciate your kind patience regarding this matter.

Meanwhile, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime to assist you further with anything else.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
