Video thumbnail on serp as article or webpage schema markup (not video markup)

Do note that it is totally up to Google to display/hide videos from the search results. Also, if everything’s fine and Google still decides to not show the desired format for your website on the search results, then there is nothing you can do, other than improving the contents of the page.
