Hi, for a background this is my website info.

All the post on my site consist of a clip of online videos that I teach. But only a member can watch it. non-member will only have a 1 mins clips displayed. I host both clip (the longer one for members and the trailer one for non-member) on bunny.net

I set all my post scheme as video. Here s the question.

    1. If I upgrade to pro version, I read it can fetch all the video info in the post they can find. But this is not youtube or vemo, it’s streamed embarked from bunny.net website so I don’t know if rank meth can find the clip and fetch the info?

    2. Do I have to do SEO twice? once on the general tab and once again on the schema tab (video section). Can I copy the same title and description on general to paste in the video field as well? or should I type a new one differently?

    3. in Schema builder, under Embed URL. I can put bunny.net link in. But the link will be something like this

    https://video.bunnycdn.com/play/186987/4429fc91-ddf9-4649-a4f5-e8b95e2faa3c

and unlike YouTube. this link isn’t viewable. it has to embed into WordPress to be able to show. So will this be problem?

    4. in my case, do I need to submit video sitemap after I config everything? because it’s technically a post. with some article about the subject and details of the class. It just have a video in everypost.

I ll buy the pro version if it s confirm that rank meth can work with bunny.net.

    Thank you.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issues you’re facing and appreciate you providing detailed information about your website. Let’s address your questions regarding the Video Schema in the Pro version of Rank Math:

    1. Fetching Video Info from Bunny.net: Rank Math’s auto-fetch feature is primarily designed to work with popular video platforms like YouTube and Vimeo. Since Bunny.net is not one of the supported platforms, Rank Math may not be able to automatically fetch video information from it. You might need to manually enter the video details in the Schema settings.

    2. SEO for General and Schema Tabs: You do not have to do SEO twice, but it is recommended to ensure that the information in both the general SEO settings and the Video Schema settings is aligned. You can copy the same title and description from the general tab to the video section if they are relevant, but it’s also a good opportunity to optimize them specifically for video search if you wish.

    3. Embed URL for Bunny.net: You can enter the Bunny.net link in the Embed URL field. However, since this link is not directly viewable and needs to be embedded in WordPress, it should work as long as you have properly embedded the video in your posts. Rank Math will use this link to generate the necessary schema markup.

    4. Submitting Video Sitemap: Yes, you should submit a video sitemap after configuring everything, even if your posts contain articles along with videos. This will help search engines discover and index your videos more effectively.

If you decide to upgrade to the Pro version, you can still manually configure the necessary details for your videos hosted on Bunny.net. Thank you for raising these concerns, and we hope this information helps you make an informed decision! If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reply to this ticket.
