UX blocks

I might have bug to report. Using Flatsome with UX builder.

Under Rank Math settings I can find UX Blocks and choose to no index none of the UX blocks to avoid them end up in google results. Even after having UX Block noindex, all the old and new blocks that have been created are marked as indexed.
Do we need to manually set every UX Block to noindex? Seems like this rank math setting is not working properly.

Looking forward to hear back as soon as possible.

    Kind regards,
    Kaur

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I wasn’t able to replicate this on my end. The newly created UX Blocks are automatically set to noindex if you have set them to noindex in Titles & Meta settings of Rank Math. Here is a quick screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/fTRwPk

Please clear the cache of your site and make sure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math and UX Builder: https://rankmath.com/changelog

If the issue persists then it can be caused by a conflict with some other plugin. Please follow this guide to figure that out: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to your update.

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply. It might be conflict, not sure. But it was activated and when creating new UX block it got indexed. Maybe WPML causing it because of translations, not sure. Need to look into it more deeper. Right now, as we do not have many blocks but in 4 languages, I have changed them manually.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

We can also investigate this issue further on your site. You can create a staging site with the same issue as it seems that your site is currently live. This will also avoid your site getting any unexpected issues upon disabling plugins or switching themes.

Here is a guide that could be really useful for you on how to create a staging site: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

Once done, you can share the staging WordPress logins in the sensitive data section
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

Let us know if you wanted us to continue investigating this or if you have further questions.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
