    Rank Math free

I am trying to use rankmath. I have been using it for a couple days, and it has been going pretty smoothly. However, I tried to use it on my homepage, and it just isn’t showing up as an option. I’m able to use it on my other pages and posts, but so far, I have not been able to get it to show up on my homepage. My website is pundukvilla.com. Thanks for any help.

  • Hello,

Sure, let us know how this goes.

Meanwhile, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you have other questions to assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Sorry for the delay. I have deactivated the setting that you requested. Hopefully you can login now.

    Hello,

We have taken a look at your website and we can see that you’re using your latest posts as your homepage, this means that will not be able to set a focus keyword and get an SEO Score for your homepage because it not an actual page but a list of your blog posts.

That said, you can set the other homepage SEO details from Rank Math > Title & Meta > Homepage, i.e. you can se your meta title, description and robots, etc. You were previously using the Easy Mode settings, which displayed minimal options, but we have switched it to Advanced mode, so you can modify more of your Homepage settings.

Let us know if you need help with anything else.

Thank you for that information. So I can do similar edits through that system that will have the same impact. I just can’t see the direct score like I do on other pages? I think that makes sense. Thank you so much for your help, and I’m sorry for the delays in between messages. I appreciate your patience.

One last question. Is there anyway to easily switch it to an actual page so that I can use those functions. For example, I have tried switching it to a static page but that does not seem to impact the available tools.

    Hello,

You can set a static homepage if you don’t want to display your blog posts on your front page.

We have provided a guide here where we’ll walk you through changing your WordPress homepage: https://rankmath.com/blog/how-to-set-homepage-in-wordpress/

After this, you can follow this guide to edit the SEO settings of your homepage directly: https://rankmath.com/kb/homepage-meta-title-and-description/#edit-your-homepage-directly

    We hope that helps.

So, yes. I have previously attempted changing to a static page, but it still did not open up the options for me to actually change the SEO stuff directly. Maybe this has to do with the type of page or the theme, but that was the original reason I started this ticket. I care very little about the blog posts.

    Hello,

Here’s a short video of me changing my website to a static homepage and using the Rank Math meta box options to setup the SEO for my new homepage.

    Hope this helps.
