I am trying to use rankmath. I have been using it for a couple days, and it has been going pretty smoothly. However, I tried to use it on my homepage, and it just isn’t showing up as an option. I’m able to use it on my other pages and posts, but so far, I have not been able to get it to show up on my homepage. My website is pundukvilla.com. Thanks for any help.

Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with Rank Math on your homepage. To ensure that you can use Rank Math on your homepage, please check the following:
-
Set a Specific Page as Your Homepage: Go to your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to Settings → Reading. Under Your homepage displays, make sure you have selected a specific page as your homepage. If you have not set a specific page, Rank Math will not show options for it.
-
Using the Rank Math MetaBox: If your homepage is set to display a specific page, you will need to edit that page in the WordPress Editor. The Rank Math MetaBox should be available there for you to configure SEO settings.
If you have already checked these settings and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern!
I checked the above settings. It just says “your homepage displays” and then it has my other pages as an options, but currently it has default selected. And when I look at the list of my pages, there is a page simply labeled as homepage which I assume is the default
Why was this marked as spam
I need help
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please follow this guide to set your homepage meta title and description: https://rankmath.com/kb/homepage-meta-title-and-description/
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
So I already changed it to a static page. It wasn’t as easy because the theme I am using puts the settings in a different place. I got to step step 2 where you click edit page: homepage directly. However, when it forwards me to the editing, rankmath is not present like it is on the other pages. It is only doing this for my homepage. The only think that does not match the first step, is that when I try to select the homepage from the dropdown menu, the only option that could be it is the default option. I think this is again because of the theme. I hope that makes sense. I might be using some incorrect terminology. I’m a little new to this. Thanks for any help.
Since every other page besides my homepage seems to work fine, I’m considering temporarily changing my homepage to see if rankmath will then work. I hesitate to do this though in case it breaks any of my links
Hello,
If you want us to take a quick look, you can edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Why shouldn’t I take a backup.
Can I also just make an admin account manually and share it with you so that I don’t have to share my main information?n I’d prefer not to download any unnecessary plugins.
Hello,
We apologize for the ticket getting marked as spam, I’ve rectified that. Regarding the issue, yes you can go ahead and create an admin account for
s******@r***********and share the username and password with us (via the sensitive data section). We are looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thank you. I did have to make a backup for a different reason, but I will get that made for you soon and share it with you. thanks.
Okay. I just sent you the information to login as an administrator. I had some major issues with my site tonight. It broke so I had to update to a backup. However, the same issue persists, so I guess see if you can solve it. Thank you for your help. Again, I just want the RankMath capabilities to be available while I’m editing my homepage.
Hello,
We are unable to log in to your site because the login is redirecting to a wordpress.com login site. To troubleshoot this issue, please deactivate the WordPress.com login temporarily so we can log in directly to your site. If you’re not sure how to do this, you can reach out to the WordPress.com support team for assistance.
Another option is to use the Temporary Login Without Password plugin to provide us with admin access without the need for direct login.
We hope this clarifies the issue. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
I will look into this and try to get you access. Sorry for the inconvenience
