Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Could you please let me know if location is a custom taxonomy or a selection custom field on the CPT so that we can advise further?
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

If required you can also use the sensitive data shred in the earlier ticket.
Hi Raghu,
I appreciate the input.
Please talk to your theme provider and ask them the variables you must use in an SEO plugin to show that location data. I am not sure if they are using the location
custom field. They might be using something else. So, it is a good idea to check with them.
Hi good morning I just checked with my theme developer as well but they said it possible with Yoast SEO plugin, but they are not aware of rank math,
So my query is to know how to use a custom variable for the custom field in title or description of a post or page.
For Example, Title is %title% %sep% %sitename% but I need to use one more custom field in the title so by adding new custom field it will be like as mentioned below and custom field for location is listingproc_location
%title% %sep% %sitename% %customfield(listingproc_location)% after using this custome field it displys as mentioned Free Listing* – Myinstitutes.com %customfield(listingproc_lo…
So the SEO plugin is not able to detect or pull the value of custom filed listingproc_location
Please guide me on how to use a custom file variable in the title or description of a page or post.
Awaiting for your reply……..
Thanks.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
If the location variable name is listingproc_location
then adding the custom field variable %customfield(listingproc_location)%
should display the correct location.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Any news on this topic?
I have the same problem.
%customfield(listingproc_location)% is not working. With YOAST it worked fine.
Hi Photognow, the instructions given by Mr. Michael Davis had worked for me, you need to use it for listing posts.
Note: Thanks Michael Davis for your reply and sorry for delay in replying you back as got stuck on some other isues as i have already raised diffrent ticket for same.
Hi Raghu,
I am glad that this did the trick for you 🙂
Please let us know if we can help in any other issue.
