Urgent need help sir

  • For the past month, I’ve been facing a frustrating issue in Google Search Console, and I’m reaching out with great hope that someone can guide me. My sitemap has been showing 0 discovered URLs, and the last read date is from a month ago. Since then, none of my newly published posts have been indexed. This has been deeply concerning for me because I’ve put so much effort into my website, yet it feels like all my hard work is going unnoticed.

I’ve carefully checked everything, ensuring that:

    The URL is correct.
    There are no permission issues.
The sitemap format is valid with no errors.
Server response is normal, so speed isn’t a problem.
No issues in robots.txt that might be blocking Googlebot.
The sitemap file is not stuck or inaccessible.
Crawl budget has not run out.
I have manually submitted posts multiple times, hoping it would trigger indexing.
I have removed and resubmitted the sitemap.
I even removed and re-added my entire site in Google Search Console, but nothing has changed.
I checked for manual actions and security issues, and thankfully, there are no penalties or warnings.
The content quality is good, and I always ensure proper formatting and structure.
There are no major broken links on my site.
I make sure to add at least 2–3 internal links in every post to help with crawlability.
Despite trying everything I possibly could, the issue remains unresolved. I’ve contacted Google three times, hoping for assistance, but I haven’t received any response yet. I even posted in the Google Search Console community, but unfortunately, no one has responded.

This situation has been incredibly stressful and discouraging for me. I’ve spent so much time and effort ensuring my website follows all best practices, yet it feels like I’m stuck with no clear solution. I truly respect the work Google does, and I know these things can take time, but I would be extremely grateful for any help or advice on what else I can do to resolve this issue. Any guidance would mean a lot to me. 🙏

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap and the indexing of your posts. It sounds like you’ve taken many thorough steps to troubleshoot the problem, which is commendable.

Here are a few additional suggestions that might help resolve the issue:

    1. Validate Your Sitemap: Ensure that your sitemap is correctly configured. You can use the Validate XML Sitemap tool to check for any issues. If it returns a success message, your sitemap is likely fine.

    2. Check Sitemap Location: Make sure your sitemap is located in the root folder of your WordPress installation. The URL should look like this: https://yourdomainname.com/sitemap_index.xml.

    3. Ensure Posts Are Set to Index: Verify that your posts are set to index. Go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and ensure the Index checkbox is enabled in the Robots Meta settings.
      Index Titles and Meta settings

    4. Submit Sitemap to Google Search Console: After ensuring everything is correct, navigate to Indexing → Sitemaps in Google Search Console and submit your sitemap again. Make sure there are no spaces in the URL.
Add the sitemap to Google Search Console

    5. Wait for Google to Fetch: Sometimes, it may take time for Google to fetch your sitemap, especially if there are no recent changes or updates. You may need to be patient as Google processes this information.

If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so we can assist you further. A human agent from our support team will take over and provide more personalized help.

    Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Since Google isn’t using your sitemap to find URLs, it’s likely discovering them through internal links or other methods. This often happens when you have strong internal linking or use the Instant Indexing plugin.

Sitemaps are just a backup crawling mechanism, so as long as your pages are being indexed through other means, there’s no need to worry. You may need to wait for Google to fully process the sitemap. More details here: https://rankmath.com/kb/zero-discovered-urls-through-sitemap/

However, if your recent pages aren’t indexed, check for URLs in your Google Search Console and look for any coverage issues that may tell us why your website is not being indexed on the SERP. You may refer to this guide: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7440203?hl=en

    Looking forward to helping you.

Dear the steps you are telling me i have tried all the steps

    Hello,

Please share all the specific indexing issue reports from your Google Search Console so we can address them individually.

As for your robots.txt, please look for a physical robots.txt file in your website’s root directory and delete it to ensure Rank Math can generate the default robots.txt.

You can access your website’s root directory via FTP or your CPanel’s File manager app.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Sir?

    Is this issue regarding rankmath?
Your sitemap_index.xml file has some extra characters or code before the very first line, which should be the XML declaration (<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>). Google’s sitemap parser is very strict about this. Even a single space or line break before the XML declaration can cause this error.

I can see this error after activating a debugging tool

Sir i solved the issue of that error which was showing in my sitemaps, but still my sitemap is not read yet, nor updated yet, and could not fetch yet. Please help me to solve this issue

    Hello,

Since you’ve fixed the issue with your sitemap, please remove all sitemaps from your Google Search Console and re-submit only the index sitemap (https://tooltested.com/sitemap_index.xml).

If the issue persists with the fetching error, please open the details on the sitemap report and share the screenshot of it here.

    Looking forward to helping you.

Sir i did it so many times. But the main problem is that it do not shows what actually problem is with the sitemap. I am sending you images.

It is not even showing what actually problem is.
I followed all the steps. I tried each and everything which even small to big YouTubers said.
From the past month I am just trying to solve my issue, but the issue is still there, and no one is ready to help me in this issue.

Please help me to solve this issue.
