  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues with your Rank Math SEO settings appearing differently on Google SERP. To address this problem, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check What You Have Set Using Rank Math:

      • Verify if you have already updated the SEO Meta Title & Description using the Rank Math WordPress SEO plugin. You can do this by following the steps provided in the Rank Math Knowledge Base.
    2. Ensure Your Schema Settings Are Valid:

      • Make sure that your schema settings are correct as they can impact how your site appears in search results.
    3. Check the Title/Description Set in the Page’s Source Code:

      • Review the title and description set in the page’s source code to ensure they match your intended settings.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please feel free to reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

    Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

We also checked your Meta Titles using our Meta Analyzer and we can confirm that Rank Math added the tags correctly.

However, it is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results and we even have a KB dedicated to this problem and a few solutions we recommend:

    https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/

Please check the KB and you will understand the reasons Google does this.

Google has made some changes to their algorithm which automatically changes the titles, discarding the one you have set in your SEO title meta tag. This happens regardless of the SEO plugin you are using. We have covered this Google update here:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.
