Unknown redirects that link to external pages

    Hello,

    3 days ago I activated the redirections module in Rank Math. Since then several redirects (20) were added there that seem to be a redirect to spam.

    It it possible there is something wrong with the plugin that requires a patch and lets some hackers to publish those redirects?

    I wonder if this situation means there is something wrong with my WordPress, some other plugin, my FTP login security or is it because of the Rank Math Redirections.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    This is not something we are are aware of. Rank math doesn’t add redirections for you, unless you have enabled auto post redirection which only redirects posts whose URL slug has been changed. Could you please share some screenshots via htpps://imgbb.com of the supposedly spam redirections.

    I have found a post on the internet about this issue. Seems that it was a bug 6 months ago and just a plugin update was required.

    You should always run the latest version of plugins, not just Rank Math.
